DESIGN

Buick Enclave

This family road-tripper is simultaneously stylish and roomy, offering generous amounts of passenger and cargo space. Beyond that, its three trims—Essence, Premium, and Avenir—provide standard high-end amenities often reserved for luxury models.

Exemplary Exterior

This full-size crossover SUV has continued to evolve since it made its debut in 2007. The current model year features a sleek front fascia with LED headlamps and a sculpted rear fascia with spoiler. It announces your arrival with the Buick tricolor badge on the grille, chrome wings, and wheels that range from 18 to 20 inches.

The available panoramic moonroof further extends the spaciousness and gives everyone on board incredible views, proving that the sky truly is the limit. The height-adjustable hands-free power liftgate offers easy access to the rear of the Enclave, even when you’re loaded down while loading up.

Premium Interior

When you slide inside the cabin of the Buick Enclave, you’ll be treated to a comfortable environment. It comes standardly dressed in these high-level features:

  • 8-way power driver seat
  • Leather seating
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Heated front seats/available massage functionality
  • Tri-zone automatic climate control

As Buick’s largest utility vehicle, the Enclave has a spacious cabin—the origin of its name “enclave.” In fact, it offers 157.3 cubic feet of total passenger volume, portioned out among its three rows this way:

Headroom (1st/2nd/3rd Row)
Legroom (1st/2nd/3rd Row)
Cargo Capacity (Behind 3rd Row/Behind 2nd Row/Behind 1st Row)
42.6/39.9/37.6 inches 41.2/38.3/33.5 inches 23.6/57.7/97.4 cubic feet

PERFORMANCE

Buick Enclave

The Buick Enclave brings space and power. It provides a single engine, and its capability is all you need. Its adaptive dampers help the Enclave remain stable even in tight corners, and it delivers respectable fuel economy too.

Pure Power

The Enclave equips a 3.6L V6 engine that yields 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that delivers a smooth ride. The Buick Enclave can tow up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped with the available Trailering Package.

The Enclave makes intelligent All-Wheel Drive available, which automatically adjusts for optimal traction. Its Driver Mode Selector enables you to adjust the SUV’s driving experience with the touch of a button. Depending on which trim you choose, you’ll have access to these modes, among others:

  • Tour
  • Sport
  • Tow/Haul
  • AWD (AWD models only)
  • Off-Road (AWD models only)
Efficient Energy

Even with its large size and sizeable amount of power, the Enclave still makes the most of every drop of gas. It yields an EPA-estimated 18 city/26 highway MPG. With its 19.4-gallon tank, you’ll be able to travel over 500 miles before stopping to refuel.

Aiding its fuel economy is the Stop-start system. When you bring your Enclave to a full stop, it will automatically shut off the engine to conserve fuel and reduce emissions. Once you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator, it will automatically resume.

TECHNOLOGY

Buick Enclave

When you have a full house on board, you’ll want to keep them engaged and entertained; after all, it’s the best way to decrease the frequency you’ll hear a chorus of “Are we there yet?” You’ll also want to know that you and your passengers are safe out on the road. With the Buick Enclave, you’ll have a variety of technologies to keep you both connected and protected.

Infotainment for All

Front and center in the Enclave is the Buick Infotainment System with an 8-inch touchscreen. Increasing your enjoyment are these standard and available connective technologies:

  • Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • Wi-Fi® Hotspot
  • Connected Navigation

For true concert-like sound, upgrade to the available Bose® performance-enhanced premium 10-speaker system. Standard QuietTuning™ technology with Active Noise Cancellation ensures you’ll enjoy your music, podcast, or in-cabin conversations without being drowned out by engine or traffic noise.

Safety Comes Standard

One aspect that all drivers want in their vehicles is confidence. The Enclave supplies it with Enhanced Buick Driver Confidence, its standard suite of nine driver-assistance systems. Among others, it includes:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Forward Collision Alert
  • Following Distance Indicator
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  • Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Also coming standard are two additional safety features that other models often forego. Standard Rear Seat Reminder prompts you to check the back row, sending audible and visual alerts, so nothing—and nobody—gets left behind once you reach your destination. Meanwhile, standard Teen Driver engages certain safety features and limits others under certain conditions. It also provides an in-vehicle report card to help you coach your novice driver.
